Looking for recommendation for the place to program the second key for Ford F-150 as DIY did not work with the key I have got from ebay.

you have to have 2 working key to program another one onboard depending on the year model. If you only have 1 working key it will need to be connected to a computer to program it on most. I get $50 to do it with my programmer.

About 2 years ago porsche wanted to charge me 500.00 for a new key and programming ,they also charge 750.00 for yearly oil change service .... i guess they have risen in cost since

Could be but everything from them has the porsche owners tax factored in the pricing. After 30 + years of corvette racing it was time to slow down ssssoooo i went with porsche ....what was i thinking lol

I found a company online that sent me a key I had cut at Ace Hardware and programmed myself, not sure what company it was but it wasn't Ebay.

If it's like programming one for a dodge it's tricky to get it to work.

Auto zone and the like used to sell key programmer for like 20.00 a few years ago ,it plugs into OBD port and allowed up to 4 keys to be programmed to that car only .

I’ve had gotten an extra fob programmed for my 03 Ranger from Robert plus he made me door keys an another ignition key. It cost $50 and a pound of smokeless powder
That was last year so I don’t know what he’s charging now. I tried to get him to join the forum but don’t think he did.

I sell ford 3 button remotes for $39.95 programmed. All you have to do is cycle the power lock button... then cycle the key 8 times...the doors lock and unlock... then hit the buttons on all of the remotes you want to program.
