FN SCAR Extension Rail Nut.

Lost one of the nuts for the Extension Rail on my SCAR 17. Anyone know the type or where I could possibly find a replacement?

This may be a FN specific fastener only. As a aircraft structural mech, never seen a faster like this.

From what I remember when I owned a 17, they are all proprietary to the platform. I know you're figuring this out by now but FN customer service blows! A possible option would be to reach out to companies like Kinetic Development Group, or Parker Mountain Machine. They make many mods for the SCAR platform and may be able to help.

Reach out to them too.. no luck but it’s alright.. might move on from this extension for a lighter PMM one

While admittedly biased, I see it as a great excuse to upgrade and if you’re replacing, go KDG. Love mine. It’s Mlok, slim, light, and significantly longer.

Beautiful. KDG was another company I was thinking about looking into.. I have a couple of their mods for the SCAR already; I know they are an awesome company.

I’ve had it for years, it’s solid titanium but I wish it locked. Omega36M would be my choice for a 30cal can if I were to buy one today.
