Same as before, single or double action, if you could have any revolver within reason what would it be? Mine would be either an OG .455 Webley, or a vintage from way back Pearl Birdshead Nickel plated 45lc with a 3”barrel made by Colt…

I am a bit of a wheel gun fanatic so my list would be dang near endless. I would want to replace my original revolver from my teenage IMSA shooting years. Smith and Wesson model 17(K22) 8 3/8” barrel, target hammer, target trigger and presentation grips. I would also like to pick up a Smith and Wesson 625 in .45 ACP, a model 34 kit gun in .22LR and probably a model 48/648 in .22WMR.

For me, A Manurhin MR73 would be top of my list for realistically attainable revolvers, followed closely by a Korth, either in .357 magnum.

They are scarce as Colt isn't making anything but custom shop order SAAs right now.

Prices are up and I eventually found mine online; any 3rd Gen SAA in lightly used or better shape commands $2K plus, LNIB / NIB $2500-3000 is common as well.

Sorry guys but my dream came true.

Check out SMP Outdoors, they are in Pelham Alabama, they are not a brick and mortar store mail order only. If they have a picture posted they have that gun in stock. Talk about gun porn don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.

I lurk in the Colt forum from time to time but I don't have enough posts to access their for sale section.
