finally got a 1911.

You're gonna love it. I've had more pistols than a car trunk would hold and the 1911 .45 has to be my favorite. Now that mine has a Clark bushing and a custom trigger it's firing ping pong ball groups and I'm sleeping with it more than shooting it. I'm hopeless.

Lol.....my wife constantly accuses me of having an affair with my 1911's.

That explains why after spending so much time with my first 1911 I ended up with so many more!

I've handled my Compact 1911 so much the last couple of months that it has, without doubt,
become a natural extension of my hand & arm.
I've become spoilt,,,,, I don't wanna shoot my other pistols if I have ammo for the Compact now LOL

Definitely so... For what its worth, my wife isn't phased by my obsession anymore... Its not unusual for several guns to be strewn around in various states of dis-assembly in my media room, or for me to be sitting there tinkering with an AR or something while watching TV. At some point they become acclimated .
