I keep hearing people talking about putting their phones in the microwave, and ask if three minutes on high will be good enough? Just plantin' seeds. Let's all meet back here after the big test, if not, well, I was wrong......
DUDE...THAT'S TOO FUNNY... I JUST SPEWED RED WINE ALL OVER MY MONITOR...I HOPE YOU WILL BUY ME A NEW ONE?

But why would they announce it ahead of time? Not trying to naysay it just doesn't make sense to me. We will see soon either way though!

    Maybe similar to this.

How many of these Doomsday events have we been through so far? can anyone remember them all? I doubt it, and yet here we are. I guess one day it will come about, but I'm betting it ain't today.

Americans around the country will see their phones light up today, at about 2:20 p.m. ET, as part of a nationwide test of emergency alert systems. FEMA says the alert will have a unique tone and vibration to make the alert accessible to all recipients. Phones should receive the message only one time in the 30 minutes after the test begins on Wednesday.
