It was a toss up between the S+W pre36 Chiefs special and the S+W 640-2.Loved them both equally

Honestly most snubbies feel and look the same to me. I have a preference aesthetically for 3” barrels but I don’t consider that to be a true snub nose.

I have expense ones, and I have inexpensive ones, they all go BANG.
He'll ain't nothing wrong with taurus revolver sir, got one myself never had a problem with it. Rather buy two relative cheap revolvers then 1 expensive, just remember guys we get what we pay for haha.

Summer time florida CC is a SW 340 PD 357 mag with a 1.8 barrel 13 oz loaded /winter CC is a 2.5 python both serve as home defense duty too . The 340 is brutal BRUTAL to shoot hot 357 loads
Beautiful gun and I really like 1.1lb weight but last time I looked at one is in the 1k area. Now the colt python that just a classic and some older ones will fetch a fair penny.

    I'm looking at a S&W 637 Airweight .38 +P.
    Any reviews, comments?
Nothing wrong with them but the 642 is more popular due to the lack of a hammer to snag on your pocket.
I’ve got a couple of 642s but I put CT laser grips on them because I don’t like the little short boot grips that come with them.

Both are 1 year old [new ] ....sw 1250.00 colt 1450 .00 . Neither works well for a search and destroy mission they shine at put the front sight on center mass at bad breath range and detonate twice ,they are NOT for plinking . Wife loves the python so much she calls it hers but i still have to clean it

I am waiting for CT to become available for my 340 ....mostly for the grip they claim 30% recoil reduction

Old - SW 649 in 357. DA but SA capable with no real hammer to snag. New - Colt King Cobra Carry in 357. Shaved hammer with an extra round for 6. Will also give my Ruger sp101 with shaved hammer a vote of confidence.
