This gun started it's life as a series 70 Colt 1911, model O1970A1CS
Due to hammer bite and displease with the sights, I set up to doing a few upgrades.
Local gunsmith did the following:
-Mainspring housing, Grip Safety and Hammer were replaced with provided Wilson Combat Parts
Gun was sent to Novaks Inc of WV, where the following work was done:
-Novak's reliability package (tuning extractor, polishing surfaces, etc)
-Replacing Grip Bushings with slim ones and slim Novak G10 grips
-Milling slide for Novak Cut sights
-Installing new novak night sights (front tritium dot with outline, rear with a night line for easy aquisition)
-Lowering and Scalloping the Ejection Port
-Once all milling was done, it was blasted and re-blued
Yes, I do have the Novaks Inc receipt, will be provided as needed.
Gun comes with 1 7rd colt Mag, and 1 8rd McCormick Mag, the other colt mag bit the dust. Hard case and OG paperwork included
Only trades I'd be looking for is towards 2011s, or high end 1911s, cash to be added as needed. Other than that, I just rather sell
