Got the slide. I think I have all the parts lined up. Thanks to Kduly for the final parts and sight tool loan! Gen 5 style rmr slide. Hard to see but it does have the 2 posts at the front of the cutout.

Should have enough parts to assemble the RMR slide with 1:16 barrel and HE507C-GR. Circle dot.

The factory slide will use the glockensator comp and 14 lb spring for outdoor use, testing.

Using G19 mag (Big Thanks Arby!) with xgrip and magpul 12 rd, factory mag too, prob 17 mag for fun.

Looking forward to getting home and tinkering with it!

So the gas from the end of the barrel goes thru it? How's it work??
Yup! Barrel ends right below the sight. Captures some gas and sends it up. Hoping to get to the range soon to see if it really does anything of if it's just a gimmick.

Edit: if it *does* work, be super cool to see an integrated comp on a 26 size slide!

From my reading, if you don't have to change the factory recoil spring.( lighter) It's not doing anything... I could be mistaken I'm new to comps.
I'll be honest, don't know a lot about pistol comps. I do understand that lighter bullets won't really feel different. Higher grain projectiles have a more dramatic compensating effect.

Yep, a mystery to me too. Gonna put it on the factory slide with the #14 spring for testing and see what's up before adding it to the build.
