BPSA USPSA Match July 11th, Biloxi, MS

Jogan and I will be shooting the USPSA match in Biloxi this Saturday, the 11th. The GCGF short bus will be leaving the Malbis Chick-Fil-A at 7am sharp, if anyone wants to join us.

I had some feeding problems with my STI. Big thanks to Jblitch for letting me borrow mags so I could shoot it!

My MBX mags will be here on Wed, so I'll be doing some load development soon to figure out what OAL this gun likes.

It sucks you have to shoot .40cal in USPSA to meet power factor.

You can shoot 9mm as well.

It depends on the division. In Limited, you can shoot 9mm in Minor power factor, but you won't get as many points for every hit outside the "A" zone. For production, there is no detriment to shooting 9mm, in fact 9mm is an advantage due to low recoil.

I shot like poo-poo today! placed around 31st out of 61 shooters. Had a mag issue in one stage. Had my front sight FO drop out on another stage and the other three stages felt like I was holding a gun for the very first time. Shots were all over the place. This is what I get for not touching any guns for the past few weeks. Gotta get back to my practice sessions....
