AR Pistol build 7.62x39 or 5.56?

I ordered a blem lower from PSA and can't decide what caliber to go with when I build it. I leaning toward the 7.62 because the parts are about the same price and the ammo is cheaper. Has anyone built one? If so what do I need to look out for? Was there a lot more recoil?
