I stopped by Gulf Coast Guns on the way back from Milton and they were loaded with ammo, not cheap but the shelves were full.
One thing that stood out was they had several boxes of 32 Winchester Special.
I believe it was Remington Core-Lok and it was $50 a box.

They definitely were not bargains but it’s the first time I’ve seen 32 Win Special since Gander Outdoors closed.

His ammo prices may be high but the guy that owns it does A LOT for some local charity’s and that goes a long way with me. I try to support them when I can.
Yeah, not trying to down him for his prices- Its a good place to look if you need ammo and cant find it anywhere else. :)

The pistol ammo prices aren't bad, specifically 9mm. Rifle ammo is high, but who isn't? The multitude of factors at play right now (Biden worries, COVID, supply chain disruption, etc) coupled with the demand - if you don't have a stash already, take what you can get.

9mm brass cases will hit $0.25/round next month. Stock up then.

FWIW, the Bass Pro in Spanish Fort was well stocked in ammo yesterday. I was there to see what the reloading section offered (not much for me), but did glance at a box of Winchester.45-70 just to gauge the market, and it was $42.99. That's about what it was pre-panic.

Academy was indeed stacked on many things on Friday. Plenty of 556/9MM/308/40SW. Even some 380 and 44MAG. 22LR was in stock but in these funky 200 round boxes at the prices you used to pay for 500rds - so at first it looked good until you picked up the box and saw it was less (just like food these days).

    Didn't have any 38SPL or 357MAG.

4 box limit, scored some Federal brass 380 for .50/rd; not great but it ensures I won't deplete my stash. ;)
