Looking for my 22LR lovers out there.
Don't get me wrong, I was that guy with the 338 Win Mag, 45-70, 308 @ 1000 + yds...once but I've always enjoyed putting a 22lr rd into the open end of a spent 12 ga at 200 yds with my CZ.
I currently have a virgin Christensen Arms Ranger that hasn't sold so why not put a few rds through her and see what she does. I would have to get a much better scope first though
Why 22lr you ask? Because it hurt me to spend $100 in ammo for three hours of fun ten years ago so can you imagine now with the cost of ammo?
I say bring on the 22lr and still have money for food
Shout out to other rim fire tac drivers.

I agree and it really pushes the skill level with factory ammo and a slight breeze.
I put one through a 223 brass at 200+ but took 4 tries lol
Heat mirage in southern Florida is a b!tch

Just got a ruger RPR in a 22lr trying to get the feel for it. Haven't got past 50 yds so for, but have been very please. Trying to fine what it likes the best, And looking at a little better scope. Have hit the 10 in steel at 200 but was not any thing to talk about; Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it any more . That is not good when you have a 200 with steel. Just my 5 cents

Ive got the RPR as well and am very happy with it. The only thing I don't like about it is it shoots CCI quiets like crap. But all in all it's a great rifle. However, I have been on the look out for a Savage B22 Precision to replace it

Same mindset on finding what they like. My CZ didn't like anything over 1460 fps so I was lobbing rds in like mortars at 200 yds much like my 45-70 at 600 yards.
I have 32 and 40 gn now to try out on my CA Ranger.
    I bought

My RPR shoots CCI SV really well. I haven't tried very many types given how well it shoots the SV but I am sure there is some that are better

Now keep in mind that the program got deleted somehow and I had to start over with the user input data and haven't confirmed if it was correct

I’ve only stretched my Remington 513T Matchmaster out to the back berm at the ERGC range on clay’s.
Lotsa fun dropping’em in like a mortar with iron sights!

A bit of a challenge for my eyes and bad habits.

For the berm clays, gotta get 55 clicks up elevation on the Lyman sight from 25yd setting I usually keep it on.

25yds is a fun challenge too with a 69 year old target rifle.

Cover hole with a dime is DAMN good for me.
