    SQUAD SCHEDULE:
We will be running an AM and PM schedule.

    AM schedule shoots from 9am-12pm
    PM schedule shoots from 1pm-4pm.

Squad size will be limited to 8. More shooting and less waiting.

You are allowed to shoot twice, as long as you shoot in a different division, and you will be entered twice to win the prizes. (One entry in Rifle, one entry in 22LR)
***If you shoot twice, it must be separate schedules, AM and PM. No shooting twice in same schedule.***

    MATCH DETAILS:
The match will be 5 stages similar to our USPSA pistol stages, only we will be shooting them with rifles. Scoring will be Time Plus.

.223/5.56/.308/22LR and pistol caliber carbines welcome.

We will have two divisions, centerfire rifle and 22LR.

We recommend an AR style rifle with 30+ round magazine.

There will be no mandatory reloads, and stages will not require more than 30 rounds, so minimal gear is needed to compete.

Just show up with a rifle, a 30 or 40 round magazine, ammo, and of course eye and ear protection and you will be good to go.

Recommend 150 rounds, bring more if you plan on missing.

Chamber flags required, we will have some on hand if you need one.

    See you at the match!

Yeah that me. Your rifle fit good. I like the sight but my budget is in the Vortex range. Did you have a number in mode for your Aimpoint?

I'll try to be there too. If you're interested I'm the B.A.D lever look at the Tactical Link variant. I think it hugs the receiver a bit more than the Magpul version. I used it on Sunday and it was nice.

I prefer a large paddle on the bolt catch. Can't miss it, no finger in the trigger guard, until ready to shoot. Plus, if you're reloading at this thing, like I had to, you're doing something wrong.

I did not mean to step on any toes about equipment. The first optic and bolt release tool I have ever used was when I borrowed Charles's rifle to finish the match. I felt like a kid in the candy store. I am upgrading before the next rifle match but I have a budget to stick to since I need to spend some money on the house and my truck soon.

As far as optics, the Vortex StrikeFire should do what you're wanting a red dot to do. They can also be had for a real bargain on eBay from people who proved the concept for themselves and are upgrading. They'll also have just as good of a warranty as NIB.
