I just got a TLR-1 HL today. I've never shot with one before, but I'm tempted to put in on the G17 MOS for Unlimited division at the GSSF match. I can't decide if it would be an advantage or if I should just stick with what I'm (barely) used to.

Put some lead in the battery compartment.

I decided to stick with what I've been using. GSSF is much more about accuracy than splits, so it probably wouldn't make much difference.

Test fired my SIG MCX 11.5" 5.56 upper with AR SBR lower 90 rounds. Flawless functioning. Soft recoil. No evidence of the bolt carrier bottoming out on the buffer. No marks on back of recoil spring assembly or on the front of the AR adapter indicating the 2 parts are being wacked together. I am pleased with the results.

FWIW, I run a TLR on my SP01 in the 2 gun stuff and it is somewhat noticeable. Not a game changer but btwn that and the 147gr subs the CZ shoots pretty flat. As if it didn't already.

I'd be all over it, if I had a chance to practice with it before hand. My entire mindset in this match (hopefully) is going to be to shoot all accurate shots and let the speed be what it is.

Mounted the Burris xtr ii 8 x 40 f class scope I won , on my RPR. Getting ready for next year's PRS. Waiting on some atlas bi and mono pod stuff to round out the package. Did some side by side comparisons with my nightforce stuff. The Burris seems excellent at 40x. The image was crystal clear at 1500 yards. Time for load development. Trying some factory prime 175 g tomorrow. Going to loadout, some berger juggernauts @ 2600 - 2700. Time for load development. Excited to shoot the 2018 PRS.

My Brownells slide came in so I put together a low rent Roland Special. Already had the RMR left over from another project. SilencerCo barrel and Primary Machine comp in the pic. Changed that out for a TBRCi V3 mini comp today.

Test fired the Cobra derringer I picked up, and the SDS Cheetah 12. Cobra went bang like it should and the Cheetah shot pretty good. Review of it in shotgun section.

Opening day of squirrel season in Florida. Fired 4 shots and missed all 4:doh:. Tomorrow I'll double check to make sure my .22 rifle is still sighted in. I thought it was....

Couldn't wait, had to go shooting the ruger today. Also loaded up some 69 grain serra hpbt over 23 grains of varget for the "red rifle" JP hybrid. So first the ruger. I have the 308 barrel in for now. Shot some Hornady black 168. Quickly realized my mistake. I have a were 20 moa mount on a 20 moa rail. Dialed all the way down,I still had a 5 moa hold for bullseye. (New night force rings on the way) so 10 rounds realizing my scope mount issue and zeroing in. Results were good. 3 shots covered a penny. Conformation group the same. The 223 with hand loads did a little better. Pics below

Today I took my WC SBR out to 500 yards. Now I have my own custom bdc cheat sheet.
    Too easy!
Would've tried further, but the sun went down and couldn't see the steel anymore. Perfect time for some AK fireballs! Lol
