What gun stuff did you do today?

Today, I gave in to pressure from the peashooters.

today I stopped into TGD and purchased a couple small items and ordered another xdm mag in anticipation of my first IDPA match. Got some Talongrips and some surefire sonic defense earplugs. I had grown tired of over-the-ear protection but have always had a problem getting foamies in the ear to to stick in the ear, these are awesome.



the logo isnt color filled or anything like that, but it was shiny in the light. I could have avoided it but it helped show how tight and concise the cut lines are on these talon grips. Great fitment and super easy to install. The pic almost looks like the rubberized ones but they are the skateboard like griptape. Very very grippy

Nice light Kenny. I had the tlr-2s on my nightstand glock. I put the rubbery talon grip on my edc shield. Fits and feels great.

I almost purchased an OPMOD for the AK, but decided black. Chris, I havent been intrigued with the laser lights at this point, just the flashlight was my goal. Buddy of mine has the same laser/light combo. Cant see shit at the range during the day. Spend more time searching for the laser than lining up sights.

I ordered a few more things for my retro builds today. Ordered an original A1 rear sight assembly and two original charging handles. I should have them in Friday or Monday.

Had a great time shooting this morning. Took my Dad with me and let him shoot the weaponry. I enjoy shooting but I really like it helping someone else with their interest in guns. He loved the CMC flat trigger and shooting with an eotech. Now we just have to convince my mom he needs to build himself one.

I got a box of gun goodies from The Netherlands yesterday and got my .40 dies on Monday. I'm really hoping to have my USPSA Limited gun up and going before the June 13th Biloxi match but traveling this weekend for a wedding and then going on vacation for a week will make that relatively difficult.

Since I'll be using 40 S&W in 10mm mags, I'll probably need to load them long to get them to feed correctly. Given the time constraints, however, I may buy a box or two of factory ammo and just see if it works.

Got the ElPaso belt holster engraved for the green feet and painted the feet. Loaded 60 rounds of subsonic 358 MGP 200gr bullets.
