A man “showing off” on his Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide was seriously injured after hitting a moped on U.S. Highway 98.

FHP reported that witnesses said when Chill approached a group of mopeds traveling the same direction that he began to “show off” by weaving his motorcycle from the outside lane to the inside lane between the mopeds. At one point, the Harley’s front wheel collided with the rear wheel of a moped being operated by 21-year-old Khilyd Turner of Alapaha, Ga.

Chill was thrown off the Harley following the collision, with the motorcycle continuing in a southwest direction before coming to a final rest on its left side. Turner was able to remain in control and bring the moped to a stop. Chill, who wasn’t wearing a helmet, was transported to Bay Medical Sacred Heart in Panama City where he was listed in serious condition Saturday morning.
