    Looks like the Russian VSS that shoots the subsonic 9MM / 7.62 9X39 round. but all the pictures I can find of it don't look like it has a detachable suppressor.

    I see urbanfuturistic probably got me again... It looks like the AS VAL and VSS are nearly identical.

    You're both close. It does indeed shoot the 9x39 subsonic ammo. It is based on the AS Val, but it doesn't have the integral suppressor that the AS Val has.

    If we did, my bad. It is the Iver Johnson M1941. It was in competion with the M1 as the US service rifle at the start of WWII. M1 won out but the Iver Johnson M1941 did see service in the Pacific.
