Little Johnny's kindergarten class was on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures tacked to a bulletin board of the 10 most wanted criminals.

One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person.

“Yes” said the policeman. “The detectives want very badly to capture him.”
Little Johnny thought a minute, then asked, "Why didn't you keep him when you took his picture?”

Little Johnnyattended a horse auction with his father. He watched as his father moved from horse to horse, running his hands up and down the horse's legs and rump, and chest.

After a few minutes, Johnny asked, “Dad, why are you doing that?”

His father replied, “Because when I'm buying horses, I have to make sure that they are healthy and in good shape before I buy.”

Little Johnny was quiet a moment, then looking worried, said, “Dad, I think the Milkman wants to buy Mom ......”

I once ordered a stock from Australia, for a SMLE, with an oversized (on purpose) barrel. I placed the order on a Friday Morning. I figured a few weeks to several months before I received the it. The following Monday, I was out doing errands and such. I arrived home about 1630. On my front porch was a package, that had been shipped via DHL. It was my stock. How they managed to get it from Australia to the states so quickly, I was never able to find out.

If anybody like cold brew coffee, I have been drinking the stuff from Fairhope Coffee Co., It's their concentrated cold brew, you just mix it with water for how strong you like it. I can't drink enough of it. I am moving further and further away from hot coffee, I find myself enjoying the cold stuff much more.

If I'm going to drink coffee it will be as hot as I can get it, tried cold coffee a couple of times thanks to a friend telling me how good it was and I just didn't like it. He loves it but it's not for me I was raised on Louisiana with Chicory that my Granny drank and my Mom drank that instant crap and tried to pawn it off on me. Now as long as it's hot I can drink almost any coffee even Seaport Dark Roast which is what I learned to drink while working all over southern Louisiana and it's coffee that chicory would improve.

One of my pits is like that. A Thunder Shirt helps with some dogs. Thankfully it is not too bad here tonight. Rain keeping folks inside I guess. Midnight might be a different story.

Hmm, I've tried a lot of coffee but never cold brewed. I need to try it out. Although this time of year I love a HOT cup of coffee, might be a good substitute for the summer.

I still have at least one cup of normal hot when I wake up. But Ive been filling up my cup with the cold stuff when I head out for work.
I need to start making my own though. The Fairhope bottle is like $12 and if you use it with their recommended amount then it will last for a little while but I use about 3x as much as I like it strong so I go through it pretty quick. I can't afford that too much.

I'll have to read up on making it at the house. Nothing better than grinding beans at the house for a morning cup. I got a Keurig for Christmas last year and it's nice but I liked making a pot at the time.

I said to my wife, “Get me a newspaper.”

“Don’t be silly,” she replied, “you can borrow my iPad.”

The spider didn’t see that coming.

God Damn, just looked up a good friend of mine who has always been a trouble maker, he got popped for his 5th or 6th DUI over this last summer, I knew that he would be in there for a while but haven't check his status for a while. He isn't eligible for parole until the last half of 2019.

Freaking dumbass, he is like a brother to me, have known him since the 5th grade but he's always been in trouble. He's been in jail a lot and hopefully this long of a stint will straighten him out but I don't have much hope.

That sucks. I hope he gets his shit straight.

You're doing better than me. I cut ties and left those friends behind. Not being on FB helps. Maybe wrong to leave them behind but I've stayed out of trouble since doing so. At a certain point you either figure shit out or you don't.

remove your self from their world, and you hava a chance to change to the better..it made a whole world of difference in my life.

I am sensitive to someone making a mistake, but time over time, the same thing, the same result, no learning...deal me out.

there, but for the Grace of God, go I ....

Grabbed my Savage 30/06 and Redhawk 44 mag and got into the jeep headed for the woods only to have the fuel pump crap out in my Wrangler 2 miles from home. Had to have the wife come pull me home and now I have to wait for the yard to dry up some before changing it out, and of course the warranty was only for one year and it's was over two years ago when I installed it

Took me along time to realize that if I was ever going to get anywhere I had to cut those types of friends out of my life. They didn't really don't want help they just wanted a free ride and I got tired of being the one who worked his ass off for them to party on my dime. Had one of my best friends who I grew up with drink himself to death after I cut ties with him and the rest of the ones I use to run with, another one who is in prison and won't be eligible for parole until he's 76 because he was looking for that free ride.

I keep in contact with 3 guys, all guys I have known since around 5th grade. They were all in my wedding and one of them named their son after me which was awesome.
I was a really bad kid too but the only difference between me and my friends is that I never put myself in positions to get caught. I did have a few run ins with law and stuff like that but always was able to get out of any serious trouble unlike a lot of them. I always considered the consequences of my actions even when I was a stupid kid.

I definitely did that with most of the kids I grew up hanging around, but I was never one to follow their way anyway. Their dumb actions never influenced my dumb actions.

What brand fuel pump did you put in last time? Is it not running or just not pumping. Did you flush the tank last time?

Delphi brand was what I installed last time and to make sure it was the fuel pump I took the line off the upstream side of the inline filter and hooked up another 3' of fuel line and put the end inside a 20 ounce bottle and then turned the engine over for 10 or 15 seconds. No fuel in the bottle after doing that a couple of times so it's the fuel pump or a blocked line as there is am almost full tank of gas. I only put 33 miles on it since the last fill up and it was running good on the highway when it went to sputtering like it was running out of gas. I've had it a couple of years and always fill it up when it gets near the quarter tank mark so I don't think it's a blocked line.
Edit: no trash in the inline filter
