Well Miami just kicked it's top 2 defensive players off the team. It looks like we will be starting 3 true freshmen linebackers. I'm glad we start off with basically 3 tune up games. It should be an interesting season for sure.

I find it refreshing that Notre Dame suspended a bunch of players for drug and gun bust, other schools would have hired a All Star legal defense team and let them play thru conviction and probation!

Well, I bought two buildings at FSU years ago, I just never found them, but I know I bought them. Then the son was asked to leave with a 1.68 GPA, down from a 4.0 & 7 years later with head screwed on straight and very tight, he graduated from Emory Riddle in two years with a degree in Airport Management and a masters in Business Administration and it was his money, all of his money and his idea. Amazing how "his money," got that head on straight...... But I am still a FSU fan. Just wish they could recruit a real good player that was not a thug. I do not know how they missed Kapernickiy......the weasel bastard.

My son has just started his freshman year at Troy on an Academic scholarship. I've already told him if he doesn't maintain his grade point average (3.0) to keep his scholarship his next stop will be to see the Air Force recruiter!

Your son and I share a lot in common. I'm on track to finish this fall semester. Not so much who's $$ necessarily, just being in the right mental frameset to give a shit about the future outside of the next weekend.

Back on track...should be a good weekend. Good games no matter who you pull for.

    LSU vs Wisconsin
    Ole Miss vs FSU
    Bama vs USC
    Auburn vs Clemson

    I'm pretty excited.

Na see a marines recruiter. All branches are brave, but they run the hell out of you in the marines according to friends. He will love it, but really miss college during boot camp

The OU and LSU offensive lines both need some work, but the weekend is not over yet. It is raining at the farm and at the house so.....feetsball is on schedule. Oh, it looks like the ACC will be at least decent this season, we will see, at least they won a good many games yesterday. Just glad the Left Coast got their butt handed to them.
