Dang it Man. People just have no FN respect for other peoples property. I hate to hear that happened. That's why I don't like to take my car out that much, unless your there to babysit it every minute some Jackass will do some Shit like that, I hope you find the parts pretty cheaply.

That's why I lost interest in having collectible cars. My trophy winning Bug got rear ended so hard on Barracks Ave. that I slammed into Warrington Pharmacy and then the dude ran.

Not one but two busted cars decided to tailgate, illegally pass and lay on the horn tonight.
Both on byrum and on park.

I don't mind settingn cruise at 90 on the interstate but I don't speed through neighborhoods. I dont care how impatient your pusher is.

"The Curse of the Red Vette!"

Sure as hell seems that way Ridge. I've had a lot of close calls with idiots in my truck but it sure seems like they are purposely targeting the Corvette. This only happens around here, I didn't have a single close call on my 1565 mile trip.

Still hadn't heard a word from FHP when I was told I would be contacted the next day whether or not the lead checked out.

Neither ECSO nor the track would lift a finger to help the girls find the car's owner so they sat by it for the last two races, well over an hour, waiting for me to come out. This gives me hope for humanity while reaffirming my opinion on public servants.

two of my biggest petpeeves, is tailgaiters, and those who will not get out of the left lane, because they are turning left in 30 miles, so they have to be in the left lane til they do...

been in enough wrecks, i rarely speed anymore, my car is an older lincoln, close to 4000 lbs, i don't tailgate...not enough room to stop....
too many idiots out there these days....let em go around

I went from this as my daily driver:

Now when I get into a truck it feels massive even if it's just a standard truck.

I used to drive a Freightliner Toterhome a couple of times a year for my boss. 70' long and the full 13'3" tall. Usually on the road for a week or so each time. After going 4000 miles in that thing I would jump in my full size pickup truck and feel small and vulnerable.

I switched from an 04 RAM 1500 to 15 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I find I have a lot more lane to keep my car in. That and parking is 100 times easier.

I still love the mini. I perfer being able to dodge and stop, or whip and pass, than to carrying around twice the mass with poor handling, braking and mediocre acceleration. I don't trust airbags, seatbelt or 4000 lbs to save my at ass from a jack knife rig or a 75 mph collision. Ymmv, if you guys love your trucks I totally understand, I loved my ram and EVERYONE have my jeep it's space.

Got to back those full size trucks into tight spaces. Much easier to park that way but I hate it when I pull just past my spot and the dunghill behind me pulls right up on my ass. I usually just start creeping back towards them to communicate my intent.

I just about always find a spot in the parking lot that I can pull straight through so I can pull straight out forward when leaving. Easy to do at Home Depot, Lowes and Wally World.

Wife backed out of a parking spot a few months ago and some welfare queen was backing out opposite and they bumped rear bumpers. I mean barely bumped, no damage to either vehicle. As soon as my wife called from the scene I told her to immediately start videoing the bitch while she was climbing around her car inspecting it. FHP wrote up a no damage, no ticket report for both of them.

A month later an insurance adjuster pulls in my driveway and starts asking about the "automobile collision" my wife was involved in. I had no idea what she was talking about and even went over to wife's car to see if there was something I hadn't been told. Finally I realized it was that minor parking lot bump. Turns out the broad was suing for tons of money, she could not walk, work, function or even get out of bed from the massive decceleration. (Sarcasm).

Wife came out and downloaded the video to the adjuster's laptop and we all had a good laugh.

Last day of freedom before I go pick up the mother in law. She'll be here for about a month before we head up to Idaho. Whoooo...... I see a lot of range time and fishing in my future.
