Mossberg Model 930, 12 ga., 28 in. vent rib, includes skeet, modified, and full choke tubes, box, stock spacers, shims, and everything that came from the factory. Also includes a magazine extension
which I never installed. I shot a few rounds of skeet with this gun but never hunted with it. It must go to an Alabama resident 18 years of age or older, or an FFL. Price is $400.00.Thanks for looking.

Are you open to FL residents with CCW or is it strictly AL residents only? I don't think there is any legal restriction, unless it is a preference thing which I'd understand.

As I understand the law, I can transfer the gun to an FFL in another state, but not to an individual. Also, a Florida resident may purchase a long gun from an Alabama FFL dealer, but not from an individual. So, like it says in the ad, Alabama resident or FFL.

Long guns can actually be sold across state lines, as long as it does not violate the state laws where the purchaser resides. However, if you are uncomfortable making an out of state transaction then you don't have to.

I stand corrected. I haven't looked into regulations on private sales as much as on retail sales. I know as an FFL, I can sell long guns to out of state buyers but not handguns. I assumed private party would be similar. Thanks for the info.

For this seller ( a very dear friend), I will assist in any sale he makes, at no charge, if the out-of-state buyer doesn't mind doing the transfer at my shop.

Edit - not legal for non-licensed individuals to sell "any" firearm to a resident of another state without FFL transfer. OP is correct.
