Looking for a good solid top load washer. Have a whirlpool currently. Do not want another. Spend more time working on it than using it. Do your self a favor stay far away from ANYTHING labeled whirlpool (Deadpool) . Nothing but trouble even brand new. Not earth friendly a plus.

My repairman told me there is only one washer you can buy that you will get 20+ years out of - Speed Queen.
Check any laundromat and that’s the brand washer that you will find.
They are pricey but I bit the bullet and bought one. I’m happy with it.

Appliance place in Milton is the only dealer I know of. I was going to buy one and she was out of stock. Went with a Maytag commercial washer. It pops and bangs like an old Kenmore and actually cleans clothes.
An old Kenmore is what I would be looking for. All mechanical. Just about run forever.

Yes, I bought it at Tops Appliances in Milton.
I was in there about 2 weeks ago and they had a couple of different models.
I believe Badcock sells them too but they were higher than Tops.

Benson's in Foley, Alabama also sells Speed Queen

Benson's in Robertsdale has some scratch and dent models for reduced prices.

If you don't mind used, I can wholehearted recommend Anna Wood on Facebook Pensacola Free & For Sale. I believe it's her husband or son who refurbs all types of washers and dryers. We specifically bought an older model top loader mechanical (NO CIRCUIT BOARD) because our newfangled HE washer sucked so hard.
