following for similar reasonsI'm going to make a poor mans greenhouse and need 4, 8 foot, 4"x4" posts, in usable condition. New ones are off the charts price-wise.
Also, is there a mill around here where rough-sawed lumber is available?
Thanks!

Not sure of the name but there is a big mill in Flomaton on Hwy 31 that has lots of rough sawn lumber at very reasonable prices. We had to buy a bunch of 1x4 for tarping roofs after Sally. Their 1x4's were about half the price of 1x2's at Lowes. FWIW, their rough sawn lumber will be true to size ex: a 4x4 will actually be 4" x 4" instead of 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" like the big box stores.I'm going to make a poor mans greenhouse and need 4, 8 foot, 4"x4" posts, in usable condition. There is a business in Ellyson Field, Pensacola, that sells various sizes of heavy wood beams, and, another that sells large PVC pipes. However, they are new, but they may have a "seconds" pile. FYI.Have you priced PVC pipe ? Instead of wood .
