i am looking for a snakegun to carry in my back pocket while working on my property. it has to be .22 LR because i have a good supply of 22 ratshot. it has to be a revolver for follow-on shot reliability. the barrel must be short to carry well in a pocket. i do not want to be burdened with a holster. most days i am already carrying other tools on my belt.

other than that it can be rusty, pocked, scarred or painted.
it can have broken grips, taped-up grips or no grips at all.
the sights can be off or missing altogether.
the lands can be worn and the grooves fouled.
it can spit, rattle or rub.
this gun must be small as it will sit in my sweaty pocket and get no love and minimal care. it must function and dispense ratshot only. regular bullets will not be going thru it.

SURELY someone has an old 22 revolver that is so ugly that they are embarrassed to pull out. something rode hard and hung up wet.

    thank you for reading.

You might want to hit up some pawn shops, I think I remember seeing quite a few little .22 revolvers in Jimmy's this past weekend! Pawn shops is a good place to find used and new revolvers! You have me thinking of getting one too now!

WHAATTTT...you passed up that H&R on GB? That could win most any ugly 22 revolver competition!

I bet you even popped for the "burnt snake".

I love those rough riders for the price, but I can’t hardly get over a manual safety on a single action.

I'm glad you pointed that out. I didn't even notice it. I'd have a hard time with that.

No telling what your final amount would be. GB's got a lot added in now, it seems.
