    Paying hundreds, if not thousands, in billable hours to handle the issue of a trigger that cost a couple hundred?

    Yep, that makes sense.
    Better than jail. Attorney would likely cost $500-$1000. Many people paid $600+ for the stupid things.

    When in doubt, pay an attorney - it is better than doing jail time or ending up as a felon.
