Trying out some wood parts. More to come!
That looks pretty good, almost like bakelite.Trying out some wood parts. More to come!
Oh hell, now I'm gonna have to do one. Also, this grip is 3D printed! It’s a 70% plastic 30% wood fiber mix. It feels kinda like wood and plastic but it looks and smells just like wood. Light and durable alternative to wood
I’d be willing to pay or trade ammo with you one day just for the opportunity to see your AR’s in person! You truly have awesome collection!I built this one a few years ago. I used an Ironwoods Design A1 kit made from American Black Walnut that I finished myself. View attachment 101626 View attachment 101627 View attachment 101628

Deal! I can be a patient man. Maybe lunch or a beer then, if that would sweeten the pot.Let me think about that. If I did decide to do this, I would do it for nothing.
What’s the weight by the way? I’m sure the wood adds a bit. Gov profile barrel I’d assume. Hbar would be a tack drive but I assume would be like throwing a knights m5 ras on as far as weight goes.I built this one a few years ago. Kinda like putting poly furniture on an AK....The ak guys say that's like putting mud tires on a 2wd.
