Probably not. We're lucky to be holding onto what laws and "privileges" we have now. The R led FL congress had more than ample time to enact the will of the people and all they did was sit on their nuts. Don't forget that it was a R majority that enacted the shit laws we're having to deal with today.

On the other hand...Currently no waiting period if you have a Florida concealed carry permit. If every law abiding citizen can carry and permits are done away with, will then everyone be subject to the waiting period on purchases unless that part of the law is also repealed?

Permits aren't going anywhere. Constitutional Carry simply says you don't need one. The 25 states that passed it never repealed their permits for the sake of reciprocity.

Well, technically 24 states have never repealed their permits since Vermont has never issued a permit in the first place and has been Constitutional Carry since before the Constitution was even drafted.

If we get constitutional carry, please hen I hope they still issue concealed weapons licenses. Otherwise you are in trouble traveling to other states or even within the state and near schools.

I plan on keeping mine as long as they issue them.

I think that most of those types of people (youths) don't bother with permits or 4473s.

The last time I got a ccw permit it consisted of a background check and firing a .22 pistol once down a tube in the back of a gun shop. Is THAT what is stopping the flood of would be Rambo's playing hero? Not sure if you're serious.

The permit system is not being repealed. You can still get one for Reciprocity.
