Why so many "guests"?

As a forum member - and doing business with forum members - why are there almost always 200+ "guests" on here? Is there a reason for this? Why are they not required to join the forum. I am sure someone - somewhere - is trolling the forum. With all the "trying times" we are having right now - I wonder who's looking at whats going on.

Can an Admin or someone explain?

My bet would be various LEO's from various agencies,
along with a fair amount of Bloomberg cronies looking to cause
a ruckus any chance they get.

A simple search engine query for say Glock pistol starts a Webb search. Its a program/bot that searches GCGF (logs as a visitor/Bot), finds Glock Threads, pistol Threads and capture the location which is then listed as a seperate results on the requestors screen. When the requestor clicks a GCGF "result" he/she is just a reg. visitor. Most "bot" data searches are regular folks like us just using the Net. And yes, all the alphabet agencies are running programs seeking key words/phrases and combination 24/7 so they will snoop too but I don't think they are the majority of "Bots" we probably get here.

I for one don’t sign in very often but I do look at the forum numerous times during the day so I guess I am a troll. The reason that I don’t sign in is that most times all I look at is the for sale stuff. I click on the what’s new section and check it out and if something strikes my fancy I log in and check it out closer.Thanks GCGF I have made several great deals and sold some things on here and I really appreciate it.
