whats up with the shortage?

Anybody have a reason for the shortage on BCG's as of late? Havent seen a shortage like this in quite some time. NOBODY has them!!!

Psa has bolts for 35.00...brownells has carriers for around 65.00 ,but the wait from psa already sucks ...

It is not just bolts and carrier's. Talked to three different companies today and quickest to get a complete Upper like I wanted was 8 weeks wait. One was 5 month's wait.

Just got one from MidwayUSA, AR-Stoner brand .223, very good looking and Mil-spec. Cost me 145.00 delivered, after a 10 dollar coupon. This is a little more than I usually pay, but they had them as of 5 minutes ago.
