Ok , this time , I have pacmires on mine xtra long screw on bottom , very large ,wraparound .$25.00 on Amazon takes lot of recoil out , great grip.

Those look like hogue overmould grips, I have a set of those. Got pachmeyer grips as well and like them more. If the hogue grips didn't have finger grooves I'd be happier. Also, I can get a little bit higher grip with the pachmeyers

Mixed the alloy up for my next batch of cast bullets

Saw a bar 1lb of antimony at the gunshow for $15 regret not buying it now. Don't know what I'd do with it though,lol

$15 is a bit expensive. Buy 5 lb from Roto Metals and it’s $7 a pound. Its high melting point makes it harder to work with for home casting. Alloyed with lead, the melting temp hoes down to 745 degrees.

Same here. Only reason I went with the lee is I have a lee loadmaster. I'm a reloading noob, only loaded aboutv250 rds so far, 45 colt and 300 bo. And shot em all up!!

Loaded up some 500S&W Mag this AM. Ladder of 14,16,17.5grs Of Trail Boss using a 300gr Hornady XTP MAG. Should be going about 825-950 from my 20" bbl.
Will also go lower to attempt to drop the vels down to 700 or so. Got some 370gr hardcast from Cast Performance coming also.
If anyone has some .500/.501" bullets for sale I would like to try some more.
This is a Encore Pro Hunter with a 20" Kahtadin bbl. A Leupold 1-4X24 with heavy duplex is installed in steel rings. ---- SAWMAN

Cast 324 Lyman #311291 30 caliber bullets (goal = 2000 of that bullet). Mixed up 22 pounds of #2 alloy for casting. Estimate it'll take me 160 pounds of #2 alloy to finish my casting various rifle bullet goals this season, so I have a lot more work in that regards to do.

Gotta finish getting my gift from Sawman of a STAR lubrisizer cleaned out of 35 year old lube, and get it mounted onto the bench. My sizing die and top punch for it should arrive in a week.

Will most likely sell my 450Bushmaster and ammo. Have to do some "water jug tests" for the opening of that bullet at the extremely slow speeds.
Might have to go back to the faster powders for the speeds needed to open these bullets. I believe that this gun is capeable of >2000fps with this bullet. --- SAWMAN

I hatched out a few a couple days ago. I now have plenty of powder,primers,brass,and bullets,to load quite a few of these. 95gr Barnes TTSX. Going about 2900fps from my 18" Bison gun. --- SAWMAN

In the woods, toting AR. Putting out corn, filling feeders, checking game cams, bought yet another trailer load of sweet potatoes for the racoons...... I mean deer. Camoed legs of house per bride's request. Toted 357 for a few hours in cross draw sling holster to try it out, not bad. Needs some tweaking.

Not so much gun stuff as preparatory stuff. Yesterday, after a long 12 week waiting period, I finally received my Hard Head Veterans ATE High Cut Ballistic Helmet (Level IIIA). I installed the Multi-cam mesh helmet cover and auxiliary pad system then attached a 9-slot FDE picatinny rail to the M-LOK slot on the right side in order to mount the Surefire HL-1-A-TN helmet light mounted on an American Defense AD-21 mount.

This is one of the final pieces of kit that I needed for my SHTF gear.
