Tested cast bullet loads in the Swedish M96 rifle and got a nice load for it; much easier to line up its sights than with the M94 carbine.

A friend gave me some "mystery" lead, about 30 pounds worth that someone before him had cast into round pigs of around 7 1/2 pounds each; harder than pure lead, but softer than #2 alloy. Next project is to figure out how much to mix with linotype to give me #2 alloy. Hoping it's 1 part linotype to 2 parts mystery lead...makes the expensive linotype last longer than the 1 part linotype to 1 part soft lead that I have to use with pure to near pure lead to make #2 alloy hardness.

Last night, I decided to try and get the TangoDown VFG on my M4A1 SOPMOD Block II build. I tried it a few months back when I built it, but it was too tight to slide on. Well, I removed some material from the VFG and managed to get it on. Now, it looks right.

Met a friend at the range this rainy day. He brought his Swedish military depot level M96 sight adjusting tool to help me sight in my M96 rifle in for windage. Task accomplished.

Went for a walk through the PCB Gun Show, didn't leave my prints on much. Still playing hide and seek with the Stribog SP91A. Our For Sale Section is where the deals are!

Those 357s are loaded to full power, I’ve got about a box full left . I started with a whole case I found in a long closed hardware store.

I've got some other odd ones too. Short of selling the boxes on ebay, hate to do that cause they are pretty cool and then the ammo becomes range, can blasters. Which is terrible. I've got enough stuff to do a table at the gunshow.

Cleaning up my gunroom. Still haven't found my other 72rd rom drum. More treasures. The big mag has a horsie on the bottom.... :)

Found some of my 20 rd colt mags! Marked " U I " on the spine. Also one of the early air force ones. Seems like I had one marked .222 as well, haven't run across it yet :)

1:12 it is a .223 chambered barrel I have that was going to be trashed. I went on 1 prairie dog shoot. I plan to shoot all of those bullets I got from you in it.

Earlier this week I bought an AR pistol case at the thrift store for $2. The cashier made sure I knew that there was no racket in the case:). Now that I know it works I will start stopping through some on a regular basis to try and get a few more.

I was thinking if I wanted to carry it “hot” then use a 10 rounder with a 30 loose in the case. That way if you need it in a hurry you could at least get some rounds off before swapping to a standard mag.
