Sent off payment for my new-to-me Stock 2. Picked it up for a steal as it already comes with a Titan hammer, 1 piece sear, extended firing pin block, aftermarket firing pin, reamed chamber, fiber optic sight, EDG interrupter, and all the factory stuff. Finally got to shoot my Super 38 today.
I'm in love! The recoil impulse is a very soft push and the action is silky smooth. The only thing I regret is that I waited this long to try it. I've had many 1911s of many makes and models and this beauty is by far my favorite. I had once thought of doing some modifications and caliber conversion, but for now, I think it's perfect just the way it is. If you've thought of 38 and are hesitant to take the plunge, don't. Come on in, the water is fine.

Today while I was still goofy with anesthesia I dreamed that my SBR stamp came in.

could you properly elaborate? hah! If an SBR stamp is that quick, I'll get on it right now I think. I been waiting to finish building this 300bo upper and waiting on my stamps for my supp's, but hell, why would I wait if its that quick!?!
