EOTech worked great. Only problem I can see with it for myself is it doesn't seem to get as bright as like my Strikefire gets with the single dot.
I can't pick up red too good with my eyes and while its not bad when shooting at a white target I can see myself struggling to find it on a bright day.
So I usually have to turn the brightness up compared to what most people probably do, so it stands out a bit better for me. I will try to get used to it or maybe save up for higher end model that has a brighter reticle from what I've seen.

Shot a few hundred more rounds through the shield. Really liking it and happy with that purchase.

Replaced the recoil spring in my 1911 and installed an extended slide release in my G19. Replaced the front sight on the G19 with a fiber optic last Saturday and it makes a big difference to me.

I'm back and stopped by Academy in Foley today and they had American Eagle .22 for 2.19 BOX. 2BOX LIMIT. I picked up a couple boxes just to try them. I didn't even know they made .22

Do you need a special tool, or is it just some kind of socket?
Glock front sight is either push pin secured or screwed down, requiring a shallow thin walled nut driver

Cleaned a bunch of my father's guns for him then did a little work on my G35/34 oversized mag release as it digs into the palm of my support hand.

Disassembled an AR I had with Spike's Zombie lower, sold it and replaced it with a Punisher lower.

    Also sold an FDE AR.

Probably going to get the Ruger ARR in .300 Blackout.

Looks like this one is screwed on. It's tritium and I want to replace with a gold bead once my next order is received.

Pic shows broken but odds are it's screwed down if it's 3rd gen or newer. As for a beed sight I've never seen one for Glock but I'm sure it exists

Wilson combat sells the gold bead front sights for Glock but the question is if they will be available in the height he needs

Is there a real purpose to the gold, or just a fancy sight?

EDIT: can't derail the thread to much. I pulled out the guns I shot yesterday and am going to clean them up, except for my spray painted AR, haven't cleaned that for about a year and a half and its kind of fun to shoot it and see how long it will run great.

If you ever see it for sale on the GCGF...dont buy it!

Pure function. It reflects light in all conditions. Unlike tritium, it'll never dim or die out. Unlike fiber optics, it doesn't completely take over the sight picture (at least to me). The rear sight is already exactly like on my 1911, which has a gold front and I want the front to match for consistency.

I've got the tool when you need it. Or you can get one on amazon for less than $10.

They've been around for a long time. Miculek is a big fan, so they seem to work.
    I have 5 kids.
Thanks Jeep! Ill probably just order one, since I've got a couple to do.
