Got ya, was it aluminum or steel? I heard of similar issues with after market aluminum gas blocks although my wife's rifle has 1 ( knock on wood ) it's proven to be a solid performer for $15It actually is forged with the split... but you can see where the set screws failed, I don't think I torqued them down too much, just hand tight with an Allen wrench. 5 shots and the bolt didn't cycle. Put the gun on safe and the muzzle down and the gas block slid to the brake... cheap ass gas block.
That thing is sweet !picked up a Ruger 22/45 Lite today from TGD in anodized blue. Cant wait to go play!!!
Spent some quality time with my press and casting equipment. First time in a while.
I picked up a new handgun on Tuesday and I'm picking up another one today.
Any of them start with a "G" and rhyme with flock?
Picking up a G17 RTF2 today. Not sure why. I really want a 19 or 26, but someone offered it to me and I've always liked the look of the RTF frame and fish gills.
Nice! I'm considering revisiting the "dark side" and may end up with one today.
What model?
G27. Didn't want to get back into 40 S&W but the price seems very attractive. I can always buy a Wolf conversion barrel to spit 9mm out of it or sell/trade it down the road..
Cool. If you need any .40 brass, you know where to find me.
