Well, TODAY so far I have mic'd the Rock Island to see where it needs work, then stripped it to get started. That will be a nightly project. Still pumped from shooting yesterday, so prob go to range with the 1911 45 and shoot some steel.

Took the steam punk 10.5 300 aac pistol to the range. FTF with subsonic but ran 2 other loads fine. Did not like the x15 50rd drum so I think I'll try to wind up the spring a little tighter but not after I try it in a regular 5.56. C-products stainless mags are the bomb. Going to order more or try to trade off some pmags, I just can't get use to plastic mags in AR style weapons.

The new PS 90 shot well but the ghost ring sights needs a new allen screw and some adjustment to zero.

Went to a range in that had a Nighthawk GRP for 'rent'. So I added a box of 45 ammo to the basket and gave it a whirl.

It was at a place called "Lotus" down in Port St. Lucie, the town I used to call home before I gave the Air Force 24 years. I went down that way for the Okeechobee GSSF. Met up with some old buddies and spent a couple hours shooting.

I finally found a CZ 75 Shadow SA in stock, so I've got it on the way to me. I also ordered a few Savage MK II magazines. If I get a chance, I'll pick up some paint stripper today and put an ugly Remington 700 out of its misery.
