Went to Styx River today..

Any of you guys out there by any chance? Both the rifle and pistol ranges were frigging PACKED!! Was my first time there as I usually go to the range on Quintette, and probably my last time.

During the week is the only time to go. I'm normally the only person on the range at Jay's in Baker.... I mean it's packed and you all should stay away!:smile:

Styx is friggin packed on the weekends, I don't even go over there anymore because there is just way too much going on for me.

I always go to Quintette during the week and have never had more then 2 or 3 other lanes in use. Occasionally I have been there during the weekend but again never more then a few people there. I am sure today is an exception to the rule as with the holiday and hunting season people are looking to get to the range.

Jays baker range is great, but the Prices are INSANE. (i understand they lose money actually because of the $$$$$$ required to keep it open)

Great range though, rapid fire! all the time. not packed ect.

It's only crazy priced if you don't get a membership your first time. Everything except ammo is cheaper after that. I've found a few weapons I thought I wanted until I rented them, so I've technically saved hundreds of dollars.
