Awesome Pics doc - just needs to hold up until bow season opens....I am really getting fired up for opening day...Just hope the company doesn't start logging this area before I get a chance to hunt it. Went to a spot that was holding really good deer a month ago to find they had been clear cutting nearby and had run a dozer across the hill about 30 yards above the bottom where I am set up. Have not had a deer on camera since at that spot. Got some shooter does on my last spot - was a real good one last year - not a lot of activity on it yet...You and your grandsons must be ready to hunt too with what is showing up on cams.

my grandson does all the work here.....he will be the only hunter, if he decides which
    he wants.
so far, the resident ones are off the list.
early-mid and of course late ending season, there should be travelers and that's what he is waiting for.

we both are wanting to see babies !!!! its an awesome experience to watch them grow.

there mom's know, this place is safe and will not be bothered.

we try and cull the kiyote's as they come around.

Mr. bear is pretty polite...2nd time around - only goes for corn on the ground and wanders off. The Horns must be really growing - never saw this in Sept before!

Also have these guys showing up a couple times, no collars, look skinny and eating dry corn. I'm not in to killing things I don't eat but I don't want the family out there when they come to visit.

BeanBry, it seems like you have a wild dog problem. I know places in east Texas have problems with then, and I've heard of other places, including east Milton having problems with them. I would try and find out if they're wild or stray real quick, wild dogs can cause some real issues, and have a tendency to be extremely aggressive.

Dogs eating corn are starving and should be trapped and turned over to a shelter or removed otherwise from your hunting area. They will kill every newborn fawn and turkey they can find.

Yeah, they will be gone soon, used to have them in the woods in Chumuckla when I was growing up. They can be aggressive when hungry.

Nice deer but as much as I love dogs, feral dogs are a real problem. Might want to contact animal control before shooting and see what they recommend to avoid any legal problems.

Shoot em, If you don't you will wish you had when you are watching a nice buck and they come through even if they don't chase it.

them "dogs" need to go quickly.....soon they will be laying with or feeding the kiyots and that makes home critter invasion with no worries.

I guess you gotta live in the sticks to understand my opinion.
