I thought that BOND died when they took the Quinine out of Kani Lillet. Yet there seems to be another BOND Movie opening this week. Well perhaps that's why it's become so simple to to purchase Cocchi (coke-y) Americano or Lillet Blanc & Angostura Bitters. A long time ago (1953) Ian Flaming created the "VESPER" Martini in the book Casino Royal, How's it go in the Movies? 3 Measures Gin, (94 proof back then) 1 Measure Vodka (100 proof back than) 1/2 Measure Kina Lillet, and that Bond Quote " Shaken not stirred". So perhaps it's time to whip up a Vesper Martini or two while we converse about Our favorite "Bond, James Bond". While Sean Connery was the original, I believe that Daniel Craig was much better in Casino Royale than David Niven. What's Y'all's Take?
