    Anyone had the opportunity to shoot one of these bad boys? Just saw one on Guns and Ammo TV and it looked pretty bad ass.. Been thinking about pulling the trigger on a Saiga 12 for quite some time now but the Vepr has me thinking now. Anyone have any experience with one?

    I just got my 5.45 version but didn't know they had a 12. Let me know what you find out.

    Haven't shot one yet.....I converted a saiga 12 last year.....It's awesome!
    The Vepr is nicer than the saiga - out of the box.... Lots of modern upgrades to the basic ak design. It comes stock with more upgrades than most saiga 12's ever get. Has a magwell ....so no rock and lock.
    The downside would be the higher entry price....and the specialty mags. I don't think there is a drum mag available yet.
