Before anything goes through the Form 4999 it has to be at least 64 oz AND between 12-26"

braced CP-33 still good for length and weight
braced 22lr AR with 6" barrel. Close. My scale says right at 64 oz. Lighter handguard and it'd probably be under. Just over the 12"... 4" barrel would probably be good (no buffer tube)
braced POF rebel. Good, well under 64oz
braced 11.5" with mil spec buffer tube. Juuusst under 26" OAL (back of buffer tube to end of the barrel threads)

Above measurements are for conversation only, not to be taken as gospel.

There's no weight or length specification(keeping in mind current NFA laws) with a pistol.

Google ATF 4099 and you'll get the proposed checklist that they'll go through to determine if it's illegal or not.

This whole thing is a can of worms.

Weigh with empty mag, no accessories. Which mag? 25rd? 30rd? 10rd? Cmmg 22lr mags are a little heavy. I've got a 15rd black dog mag that's way light. If the handguard isn't needed for operation, can I remove that

Not me, but I heard someone say "I will not comply"

Also, "Prohibition goes beyond the bounds of reason. In that it tries to control a man's appetite by legislation. And make crimes out of things that are not crimes."

The problem is none of these rules are legislation. The rules aare imposed by authorities who are not voted into office by fellow citizens. The rules themselves are not voted on by the citizens. And the rules end up becoming defacto "law".

This is a clear violation of the constitution. Law is proposed by the congress, ratified by the senate and signed into law by the president.

And I'll mention "shall not infringe"

    Not arguing with you.

I don't want to be the test case.

Examples listed in the OP and similar setups will still allow you to go unharassed at the range/in public because they're still "legal" even if this new shit passes. Do what you want(or don't) with that information.

This is for AR pistols with a braces, what about an AR pistol with just the buffer tube? Is this going to apply?

    Thanks
    Ted

Well, I think it is Bull Shit.

That said, I will try to comply or SBR and add a real stock if they waive the fee.

anything too difficult may be separated and given away or sold.

I think it's BS also, but that's probably what there banking on. If they make it difficult or questionable then a lot of people will back down and they'll win.
