I use a Nikon monarch during hunting season and have had it for the past few years and never had any real problems with it. During low light hours (early morning/late afternoon) I can still make out the shape of the deer and make an accurate shot. If I had to purchase another scope for another rifle, I would feel comfortable buying another Nikon.
