Both are good for the price. I have the M-223, and am very satisfied. I also use Nikon Binoculars daily in my real job. Nikon is good quality with all thier products

I had a Leupold and I honestly didn't like it that much

Well it is certainly better glass, was it the reticle you had, there are just too many choices. My redfield(same factory as leupold) has very clear glass.

I like the Buckmaster, a M223 1-4x, and M223 2-8x. I've been very pleased with each of them.

Fact are facts fupagunt, there is no denying in side by side tests on the glass. even if you cannot afford the Leupold they have fine glass and the coating is far superior. That certainly does not mean you cannot like another manufacturer. I even like the Zeiss line and a buddy of mine has a swarovski...that is to die for!

I have a Pentax...I've tried about all of them and liked Pentax the best. Bust you can do is try out as many as you can find.

Co-worker has a Sawarski and swears it was the worst money he ever spent and he says his Leopolds are just as good in his opinion.

    Another swears by Nikon Monarch's

They last minute of the day, the better glass bring more light enhancing the capability of the shooter to put rounds into the target. Some of the higher dollar scopes are worth the money, BUT, A Nikon is all I will need with the game down in this area with "most" distances and conditions. jmho.
