BLUF: It ain't like it used to be. Panhandle governments have made drug-deals with Nashville (probably other afluent areas), and surrounding areas, to whore themselves for profit+. Most of the complicite/guilty were voted out, but the trend continues in the name of the almighty tourist dollar. The price of just about everything fun has doubled. You'll get maybe 50% of what you are probably expecting(?), and you'll get a dose of liberal/"love your neighbor, ya'll," just about everywhere you go.
