Good to know on the .45, just picked one up 3 weeks ago and have the craving now for the 9mm as well. Can get one at what I think is a great price, hoping it is as reliable as the .45..

El Capitan had one that had many many rounds through it. The front sight had fallen off, but it ran like a sewing sewing machine.

*This is by no means a reflection on El Capitan, his courses or teaching methods.

I had one and it was a good shooter, had a few issues with aftermarket cheap mag, but gun shot great and was a good looking too.

I cant speak for the weapon your wanting to acquire, but I own several Taurus and they operate flawless. Great weapons!!

I agree. I don't get what all the Taurus haters are about. I'm sure they had their share of teething problems like anyone else, but what I see now is a huge lineup of quality products, competitively priced, backed by a lifetime warranty.

They must have come a long way. I won't own another one. Years ago I had bought a pt99. It broke TWICE. Once a spring broke and then the rocker that the barrel rocks on broke. I still have it but would not stake my life on it. People don't seem to have as many problems now.
