Switched gears, building short 15-22P.

Won one finely. Going to chop the barrel to 4.5 and thread. Add binary trigger and can. Yard toy, crow blaster etc..
May or may not fix it up with a brace.
Figured I'd go this route rather than a whole new platform that does the same thing ( .22 Charger)
Good thing is I have time to read up, plan it out and buy parts.
*** i think sw quit making these? last i looked they had em listed as a class 3 only.???

Yep, somebody chopped it off. Can be fixed. I already have a 15-22p un molested.

Here we go. Need the breach block and removal tool. Can keep the stock handguard. One less thing to buy.

Wondering if the poly handgurard will work over the can? Might melt it?. Don't know. Did locate a reduced power spring so the quiet 22 will cycle. Also aid the shorter barrel if needed. (4.5 inch)

I think strike industries makes a threaded plug to cap off a receiver extension like that. I had a POF 22 pistol for a while that was set up like that. That one took 10/22 mags which is awesome.

Also get one in .40 S&W and 10mm.

Also like ultra light. The S&W should be about 3 lbs with can when done.
I have the TNW in 10mm. It's a deer dropper. 4.3 lbs. Glock mags.

Might be a smidge more in weight. But uses standard parts.

Pretty sure you could build something very capable for $700. Or way less if you already have a pistol lower.
