Well, if you reload get ready. A pound of Varget went from $35.99 to $47.99. That means ammo will be going up in short order. Thanks Brandon!

If they get the prices high enough no one can afford to shoot up schools, liberal mentality

Let alone some powders seem to have disappeared from the face of the earth (a lot of Alliant).

Good. About time. They deserve to reap what they've sown, x10. And that still ain't enough, IMO.

that is a pretty good price for Varget here lately. Someone mentioned somewhere had it is stock and it was $60 a # close too me the other day. They pay the same HazMat whether they get 1# or 10. It is just easier to spread it out with 10#.

Some powders seem to be in short supply, but in most cases I’ve been able find a powder that would work . I‘ve just had to work up new data.

Alliant powders have been hardest to find for me.

I suppose it’s due to Vista Outdoors and the number of ammo manufacturers they own. More profitable to sell as finished ammo. IMHO.

I haven't been able to get Varget so I picked up 8# of N140 and 8# of 8208XBR to run in the Dasher I am building to see how they will compare to Varget.

An older friend questioned my variety of powders I had on hand. He said for 30 years I’ve used x powder. Well that may be great in normal times but in the last two years I haven’t seen any of x powder. Better have multiple powders and multiple load data to navigate this crazy new world. Get what you can get. The good old days are gone.

Midway been best source for in stock VV powders for me. The kicker is small limits and hazmat along with shipping fees.

Brownells had blue dot last week. First I had seen online in over a year.

I’m an old Bullseye, Unique, and 2400 user, so I was happy when the Swedish wood blank powder enabled me to stop using Unique and 2400 in two cartridges and enable my supply to last longer.
