I’m shocked this hasn’t sold. This would be a great trench gun project as this model was used by the US military and is the same slam fire system as the Ithaca 37..

Thank you Grits1/5, I appreciate your reply and it does definitely have historical value and would make a great project.
I would hate to chop up such a beautiful old shotgun, but I’m very tempted. If I recall right, the stevens 620 is one of the best trench gun conversions, because you can still use the take down feature with the heat shield/bayonet lug attached, unlike on the model 12 trench guns. If someone doesn’t buy it soon, I won’t be able to resist much longer

I do understand, and in some of the research I did on it I saw where there were multiple sites where people were talking about using them to do the trench conversion. If you are interested, I will be in the Milton area tomorrow and I could bring it with me?

Good morning Sawman, and yes sir. The mag tube holds (5) 2 3/4 shells without the dowel and (2) 2 3/4 shells with the dowel for hunting. It feeds, extracts and ejects as it should. I have only ran bird shot through it, but it performed well without any issues. Slide does lock when last fired shell is ejected and the mag is empty. You are most welcome.
