    The lever style safety instead of a push button safety tells me it's a Mossberg. The forearm wood overlapping the receiver instead of meeting the receiver like a Marlin is another giveaway
    Did Mossberg put the bullseye on their Walnut stocks like Marlin did? Looks like this rifle might have one.

    Just my opinion but as far as I know Marlin never had a lever style safety Marlin forearm never overlap receiver Marlins triggers were not integrated into the lever these things I can see in the picture so my opinion is this is a Mossberg. Even if it does have the bullseye in the stock you can buy the bullseye on eBay for about 9 bucks

    I'm not sure about this but I don't think Marlin put the bullseye in the stock of their store brand guns
