John Browning design patent 1902. Remington Arms, introduced as the Remington Autoloading Rifle in 1905, though the name was changed to the Remington Model 8 in 1911. This serial number dates 1909. Few were made and even fewer were 35 Remington which was released late in the production. This is an original pre-model 8 in 35 Remington. Has the original Tang site. Rear ramp has been broken but they are available on the internet usually around a hundred bucks. The Remington automatic rifle in caliber 35 Remington is what was used to stop Bonnie and Clyde. Intended on using it as a deer rifle which many are and they excel at but need to sell. Don't bother lowballing I know what I got. May be a little negotiable if someone picks it up quickly as I must be leaving town shortly. No trades
