Sorry but I'm just trying to comprehend here what calls for the $400 price tag on a stripped receiver set. I'm not knocking what ya got, just curious as to what makes them THAT much better than any of the other options on the market. What is it about these that command that price? Excuse my ignorance as I'm not too educated on the differences in manufacturers and their materials or the end product that these will be turned into.

because they are sold out everywhere. supply and demand i suppose...
If you can find them, they retail for about $230 ($125 upper and $105 lower) but they are hard to find these days

Not at all! I was just answering his question. I personally paid double the retail value on the exact same stripped lower a few weeks ago because its a very nice lower and I couldn't find it anywhere. I never said it was an unfair price. Just that they are in demand and hard to find...
